New Himalaya
Retreat
The New
Himalaya Retreat is a retreat established by Ananda
Tara Shan, which she dedicated to the work of the Lord Maitreya and the Spiritual Hierarchy,
the Inner Government of Earth. The Retreat is situated in the township of
Daylesford, Victoria, a town that provides a wide range of healing
practices, including massage, mineral spas, spiritual healing, and
alternative and conventional approaches to health improvement.
The New
Himalaya Retreat consists of different foci, representing different aspects
of the Spiritual Hierarchy.
Shigatze is a focus of the 2nd
Ray Master of Love-Wisdom, the Lord Kuthumi. It is set amongst undulating
hills of farmland and forest. Shigatze has much inner beauty and provides
an ideal environment for meditation, contemplation, and learning, for
experiencing Heart Flow and for receiving inspiration about how to
practice, how to live and work from the heart.
Shamballa, another focus located
in the same area, is directly linked to the golden city of Shamballa
on the inner side, which is situated above the Gobi Desert.
The energy of Shamballa helps us to open up to the Plan that the Hierarchy
knows, through the guidance of the Lord Maitreya and Lady Yasodhara, and it
helps us to lift towards our own Godself, our I Am Presence. The focus of
Shamballa gives us a special feeling of what "living peace"
means.
The two
retreats, Shamballa and Shigatze, provide a possibility that Will and Heart
can merge and help us with an understanding of Justice and Love for those
who strive to live by the truth that God is Good.
The plan for
Shigatze is to create a study retreat there for people who wish to come to
learn about meditation, and through healing and tuition, to explore ways to
strengthen their connection to their Higher Self.
The Sanctuary of the Heart, another focus
in the New Himalaya Retreat, is a Theosophical sanctuary, built upon the
Theosophical principle. The Fellowship strives to make the Sanctuary of the
Heart an example of the Theosophical life through its use as a sanctuary,
church, and meeting place for all people of similar beliefs and purposes.
The building itself is a shrine to the Risen Christ-Buddha, the Lord
Maitreya; and His is the Light and the Heart Flow that shall radiate from
the Sanctuary to all corners of the Earth.
The focus at
Heart Glade consists of the Lamasery, Buddha's House, with library,
meditation, and dining facilities, and the administrative offices of the
work.

The Sanctuary of
the Heart
The Sanctuary
of the Heart is a Theosophical sanctuary, which means that it is built upon
the Theosophical principles and that it shall strive to be an example of
the Theosophical life through its use as a sanctuary, church, and meeting
place for all people of similar beliefs and purposes.
The building
is a shrine to the Risen Christ-Buddha, the Lord
Maitreya; and His is the Light and the Heart Flow that shall
radiate to all corners of the Earth.
The Sanctuary
of the Heart is the first of its kind built in the world. Slowly
sanctuaries such as this one shall be erected by the Children of the Heart
and placed in spiritually holy places where they shall act as transmitters
of His Presence in the world, emitting healing effects in the physical body
of Earth as well as in the bodies of human beings. The environment around
these sanctuaries shall be greatly improved by these manifestations of His
Love for all living. Many people who search for truth and honesty in all
things shall find what they seek there, in the hearts of these foci
representing the Lord Maitreya, His Laws, His overflow of compassion, and
His strong belief and knowledge in the survival of the human family as they
become His children in conduct, in faithfulness, and in loyalty to God and
His-Her Sons and Daughters.
When used as a
church, the Masters of the Hierarchy shall officiate through ceremonial
work and activities of all spiritual kinds; these churches shall become
sacred places where the Kingdom of God makes Itself known and felt to all
people who turn their hearts and minds within, towards God's venture to
make this planet a place in His-Her Kingdom where humans and angels shall
walk side by side in companionship and in mutual respect for their
individual and group roles in God's Plan.
Many churches
are holy places that exude peace and tranquillity, healing light, and
God-like virtues as energies. Temples
built to various religions may radiate the energy of the prophets,
messengers of God to whom they are erected as houses where members of that
particular religion meet and worship in mutual belief and faith.
A shrine,
however, built to the Lord Maitreya must
be built upon purity of heart and the highest ethical and moral principles.
The sanctuary may be a physical building, but it is the etheric building
around it, descended unto it by command of the Most High, which shows the
true nature of the work which shall be conducted from it. A sanctuary
should never become just form stagnated and frozen in a period of time, but
should be a living entity given breath and therefore life by humans,
angels, prophets, and Teachers whose hearts are with God in God's Kingdom,
and not by teachers, priests or ministers whose hearts are with the world
of matter and its god of misery, seeking power of God for their own ends.
People who are
attracted to the Sanctuary of the Heart are people of all religions and
philosophies who feel that they are brothers and sisters in the One God – the Logos, and part of the Sons
and Daughters of the Logos. They have found God's Love and God's universal
message in their respective religions and philosophies. They are content
with staying within that religion or philosophy, yet they also recognise
that other perspectives carry the same message, thus making all who walk
the way towards unity with God brothers and sisters on Earth as well as in
heaven.
In religion we
are shown a way to unite with God. Many people have needed many ways, but
that does not mean that one way is better than the others. When a soul
becomes an initiated soul, all the ways merge to become the One Way towards
adeptship. The Lord Maitreya is preparing to send forth a religion which
shall unify people and nations, but this religion lies 500 years ahead in
time.
There is no
prophet, no messenger more important than the other. They have all
represented God qualities needed at their individual coming. Without the
first efforts, the Plan could not continue. The present builds upon the
past, the future upon the present. God's Plan has been implemented by
thousands (if not millions) of wonderful efforts.
How could
Gautama Buddha and Jesus Christ (Maitreya) have come, if not for the
efforts and sacrifices of previous Avatars and initiates?
A sanctuary
must never be seen as only a building, but more as a flame, ever-living,
representing God's Love for the Children of Earth. When you enter such a
flame, enter with humility and awe, for here in this flame inner worlds
meet with the earthly world and the angels are appearing in all their holy
beauty to assist the seeker in finding God and His-Her great Sons and
Daughters.
In your heart
you shall know, in your heart you shall see that all is One and One is all.
